The pattern was a little difficult to follow. For $6, I thought the pattern would be more detailed and include more photos (I was thinking more "MadebyAnita" pattern quality). Some of the steps were written in a way that made it difficult for intermediate crocheters and very difficult for beginners to follow. There were several times in the pattern that said to just go watch a video on YouTube if you got stuck. I feel like good pattern would try to better explain stitches and try to solve problems before telling you to go work it out on your own. Also, the finished hat in the pattern picture isn't achievable with the pattern instructions; the brim instructions do not yield that brim. There are pictures at the bottom of the pattern with the correct brim showing. For the price of the pattern, I would not recommend buying.
